Ulexite, also known as TV Rock
Named after its discoverer, German chemist George Ludwig Ulex, Ulexite has its transparent quality due to its fiber optic-like structure. If placed on top of an image or piece of text, the print or image underneath is visible at angles up to 30°. Ulexite us usually colorless, unless it contains inclusions or imperfections such as clay. I especially like this mineral because of its translucent properties. I have a sample here at my house and it’s very amusing to use when reading the daily comics!
